ATLANTIC SEABOARD DYSLEXIA EDUCATION CENTER (ASDEC) SUMMER COURSES

LDA Members!  Take $50- off the materials fee for the Math or Study Skills courses (not Language).  ASDEC will offer three or four partial scholarships for the Language I course--$510 each. Interested persons should call to request an application form.

July 7-31, 9 am to noon.  ASDEC 4-week summer program for 7-11 year-olds struggling with reading, spelling, writing, and math.  One-on-one instruction.  Orton-Gillingham philosophy.  Equivalent to six months of instruction in schools.  Exceptional results in improving attention, reducing anxiety, regaining self-confidence.

July 7-18ASDEC 2-week summer programs for Middle and Jr. High students, 9 am to noon:  (Separate classes.)  Focus on writing, math, learning strategies and study skills for mastering content subjects, improving performance.  8 am to 9 am:  Overview of Phonics to improve accuracy, fluency, and comprehension in reading.  Phonics course may be taken separately.  "They really know how to teach me here."
